Can the certificate be completed entirely online?
Yes. Our service is entirely online. The visual inspection takes place by video call and does not require an on-site visit by the engineer.
How does the video inspection work?
Before the call, we explain which information and photographs we need. During the call, the engineer guides you through the necessary accessible spaces and elements.
Do I need a certificate if my property was built before 2002?
If you are selling or renting a property in Catalonia built before 2002, contact us to check how the requirement applies to your case and arrange the certificate.
My home has been fully renovated. Could a certificate still be needed?
A later renovation does not by itself change the original age of the property. If it was built before 2002, contact us to review your case.
What happens if asbestos is found?
The presence of asbestos does not automatically prevent sale or rental. The certificate describes the visible materials identified, their condition and the potential associated risk.
Are intrusive surveys or laboratory tests required?
Not generally. The certificate is based on a visual inspection of accessible elements. If your case requires an additional check, we will let you know.
Does the certificate guarantee there is no hidden asbestos?
No. The inspection covers visible materials and accessible spaces or elements. It cannot establish the absence of hidden materials in areas that cannot be inspected.
Does a home certificate cover the whole building?
When a home, commercial premises or another specific unit is certified, the scope covers the inspected unit. Common building elements may fall outside that scope.
